12/5/25 – 8:30pm – I very much enjoyed reading this article about Jason Perez, which in a few pages spoke volumes about him as an artist and as a person. I agree that continuing to work hard (and work smart) are important in attaining goals. Also, being inspired is key – in your case your father has been an important driving force, and in my case my mom and brother have been regarding art and my Dad regarding honesty, authenticity and sticking to one’s values. I live in NY and have recently traveled to film festivals in Barcelona and Los Angeles for some of my films and screenplays and scripts and will be returning. I noticed several exhibited paintings in Barcelona hotels and in LA and I’d like to join a group exhibition if you know of any. Marvelous profile of a prolific artist who never stops with her zest for the unexplored. So glad she is recognized for her extraordinary talent. We loved the exhibit at the ABQ airport it juxtaposed magically with the modernism buzzing at the airport and we were transported to a more earthbound time of wool and rituals that reveal how these images still loom in our collective consciousness
Santa Fe airport would be wise to take note.
