Daniel was a guiding force and an instrumental part, of what became a carrier for myself, in the retail fine art industry. Daniel gave me my first real gallery sales opportunity with Martin Lawrence Galleries.
He was instantaneously likable and thoughtful of all of those he worked with and I would gather, all he came in contact with.
When I heard of his passing, I was very much saddened. I will always have fond memories of Daniel and his great successes in the art world. A life well spent and one taken far too soon.

Thank you for writing this! I always felt like Daniel thought of me in the small way, his small kind gestures will never be forgotten. Everything from the gifts he gave my daughters when they were born to inviting me to come meet Ali.
I was with him on 9/11 and it was great to read this today.

I only knew Daniel for a few short years, but our connection was incredibly strong, both being passionate bordering on obsessed with all things art. We had so many plans for the future: doing shows together at Artemizia, raucous dinners, Italy etc. The art world has sadly lost a colossus and I have lost a dear friend and collaborator.

Daniel touched so many lives in such a wonderful way. I enjoyed his friendship and I’m a better person for knowing him. Love & prayers to the Crosby family.

It is a wonderful thing to be involved in the life of another.
For however long; however short.
Daniel was my best friend for so many years. It’s an honor to have been a part of his life. More than I can ever say.
