Fact: $200,000,000+ Is Still MIA

What’s the most valuable stolen piece of art that’s yet to be recovered? That would be Johannes Vermeer’s The Concert. Valued at approximately $200 million, the piece was stolen in 1990 from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, along with pieces by Rembrandt, Flinck and Manet. The total value of the stolen art, none of which has turned up since, is over half a billion dollars.
